Thursday 10:00 AM PST, Live Interview Right Here

Good morning! In just three hours Aurelia Casey and I will get together on Google Hangouts for a live interview about The Beauty Thief. I’m super nervous and excited! If you can be there, fantastic! Below is the YouTube spot, or click on Google Hangouts to see it from there.

If you can’t make it for the live interview but still want to watch, it will be recorded. Aurelia will make it available for us. I’ll make sure to post it here, and Aurelia will also add it to her website.

Interview: 10:00 AM PST, Thursday, April 2nd, 2015.

Now, have a great day!

  1. Reblogged this on Worlds Apart and commented:
Great insight into Rachael Ritchey’s debut novel, The Beauty Thief, and how it came to be. If you haven’t read it yet, give it a try!

  2. Really enjoyed the interview. And I really really want to read your book now! Does it qualify as YA, I’m wondering? Because I’m in a group n Goodreads that’s reading YA and I’ thinking maybe I could use our book for that?

But yeah, the interview was good. Your answers were interesting, and think you did a good job of promoting your book. You handled the technical hiccup pretty well too. 🙂 Well done.

    1. LOL technical hiccup. haha Yeah, more like “blonde moment.” But hey, I’m a blonde at heart, so I’m good with it. I like to think of that snafu as breaking the ice. 🙂 I’m glad you watched and enjoyed! I’d love for you to read The Beauty Thief. And, yes, it is YA fantasy fiction. The characters are basically late teens/early twenties, but the style and content are geared toward younger audiences (and old fogies like me, of course. 🙂 ) I would be so pleased if your Goodreads group could read it and discuss it! That would be awesome! 🙂

      1. I am going to read your book. Not going to promise how much discussion there’ll be in the group, but I’ll certainly let the others know what I’m reading and where to find it. 🙂

  3. That was a good interview, full of information and fun, and I must applaud you that you didn’t seem nervous at all! Escpecially with the technology mishap. 🙂 I’m so happy for you that more and more people are learning about The Beauty Thief and loving it!

      1. Aw, your welcome. ^_^
Yep, I took all them nerves and I was shaking like a leaf in a hurricane! 🙂 I’m the best at being nervous in front of people; there should be an award for that… World’s Most Nervous-In-Public Person. ;D

  4. I enjoyed the interview. I found you very articulate and full of Charisma. The only thing that was missing was a cup a tea as if you were visiting with a friend or neighbor. I am in hopes that you are just beginning in your book writing and do many more and they are all picked up, read and everyone with say, “Hey, have you read Rachael Ritchey’s new book? I couldn’t put it down!!” I DID
