Interview with Kristin, #BlogBattle Orchid Winner

Kristin

Hi Kristin! I’m so glad you were able to stop on by today.

Everyone, meet Kristin from over at Pursuit of a New Adventure. She’s our Orchid #BlogBattle winner! Make sure you jump over toย her blog and read her winning story, The Gossips of Westpark Flowers. You’ll get a good dose of humor out of it, for sure.

So, Kristin, my friend, are you looking forward to our rather odd sort of #BlogBattle interview experience?

I’m excited for the interview!

I’m so glad you’re excited! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m pretty excited myself.ย Let’s get started. It’s really just a very short and sweet, very painless few questions (said the woman with the mischief in her eyes). ๐Ÿ˜‰

1) How long have you been writing (or wanted to write) and what do you think motivates your writing the most?

I’ve been writing my whole life but stopped for too many years. What motivates me is when you have a calling it’s just something you know. It’s the only thing I want to do.

I think a lot of us can totally identify and maybe (on occasion) commiserate with you on that one! haha I am so glad you’ve decided to pursue your passion with writing! I am all for following your dreams. Speaking of dreams . . .

2) If you woke up tomorrow, alone on the top of a mountain, what would be your first thought? What would be the first thing you would do?

I’d ask myself, where’s the bathroom? How do I get off this mountain? Where’s my cell phone and what time is it? What did I do last night?

Ha! So practical. ๐Ÿ™‚ Of course, it only makes sense. You’re obviously a sensible person, but with an edge of adventure and fun. I wonder what one would have to have done the night before to end up on a mountain without remembering. So many possibilities. I don’t know about you, but the writer in me wants to explore that.

So, I just have one more question for you, Kristin. Really, we would all be disappointed if I didn’t ask.

3) Aliens are an important part of our interview process here at Blog Battle, so we must know, if an alien were to offer you the ability to see into the futures of all your loved ones in exchange for your fingers and toes, would you do it?

No. I like my extremities. I don’t even have Facebook so Iย don’t really care what happens in their futures hahaha.

Oh man, I’m in stitches here. I can’t believe you don’t have Facebook, though. You really don’t care about what happens in your loved ones’ futures! Not even if you could prevent something horrible from happening? Although, now I come to think of it, if you had no fingers or toes, I’m not sure how you’d type them a message on Facebook to warn them of their impending doom. haha But I get it! Fingers and toes are kind of nice to have around. I use mine pretty ย much every day.

Thanks so much for submitting to the infamous #BlogBattle interview, Kristin! As always, it’s a pleasure getting to know our winner a little better.

And YOU! Thank you for stopping by toย hang out with Kristin and I for a bit! We had a blast! Have a great week, and don’t forget to check out this week’s Blog Battle stories
