You might have told me and I lost the message, but did you guys get electricity back in time for Thanksgiving day? I’d been meaning to ask.

      1. Good, I’m so glad! I was worried for you all. Last year’s Thanksgiving we didn’t have power, so no dinner and no people over, and it was a sad and trying time. I’m glad you got power back before then. 🙂

        1. Were you in the middle of that huge snow storm? I’m sorry you had to spend Thanksgiving that way.

          1. It was last year, and yeah we were! Ohhh, it was awful. XD I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was really difficult. 😀

            1. I’m sorry you had to go through that, but I bet now you are thinking if it ever happens again that you’ll survive…Not thinking, “Bring it on, Weather, bring it on.” Just” Ugh, not again.” haha 🙂

            2. LOL, definitely “Ugh, not again!” XD But you are right, I’ll know what to expect now if it happens again. Yay for learning. 😀

its been a super bad couple of weeks and the power utility company just forecasted an increase in power outage, I really need to get me those power bank chargers a solar one too cause have power for like a few hours a day, after midnight but before sunrise can you imagine but today gone 48hrs still no power

        1. Wow! I will not complain about losing power for a week. We have another wind storm kicking up today so it may go out again, but it sounds like this is a regular sort of thing where you live. It’s hard to be cut off from the WWW when it’s become such a normal part of life. I hope your power situation gets better, Beaton!

          1. I hope so too…. unless a learn how to build a power station in my back yard
so today having barbecue for breakfast because the power been out for so long the meat in the fridge going so funny its telling jokes to the flies so might as well as have meat party whoop whoop lol
after a while one adapts to not having power all the time
and dinner is candlelit isnt that romantic ^_^

            1. I was thinking much the same thing about the absence of electricity. We were getting used to it, that’s for sure. But what’s a week? Also, my parents live an hour away and had electricity, so we were able to salvage our freezer items! No flies and no jokes around here. I’m almost jealous after that description, Beaton. haha
