My Writing Journey

When You Get the Chance to Be One of WTF

You might be wondering what WTF is, well it’s not what you imagine. It’s way better, a ton of fun, a great way to connect, learn or be encouraged. And who doesn’t want to have a good laugh?

Writers Off Task With Friends!

Here’s what we covered and what Dan Alatorre had to say about it on his blog:

This week’s topics include

  • Idaho and Alaska, how they influence your writing or do they?
  • Why does a blog cut years off your learning curve as a new author.
  • Is juggling the plot of each book difficult while considering the the overall arc of your stories, or easier?
  • Where did you get the idea for formatting your stories?
  • Why are so many authors seen as shy, and are you seen that way? How do others usually see you?
  • Best thing about being an indie author? Worst thing?
  • As an indie, edit yourself or use an editor?
  • What social media are you on and which is the best (as opposed to which you like most)

(Some of that is important for writers to know.)

We enjoyed having Rachael as our guest, and if you’d like to appear on WoTwF or would like to send us some questions you’d like to see authors address, Contact Me using the Contact Me button, above [on Dan’s blog or click the link right here]!

Yes, it’s a bit silly. That’s the point. But it’s also insightful and fun. That’s also the point.

And if you subscribe to our Writers Off Task With Friends YouTube channel, you’ll never miss an exciting episode -you’ll get an email update every time we post a new show!

The hosts of this fun YouTube Show are

So make sure to connect with them!

Any writers out there should definitely contact Dan about an appearance on Writers Off Task With Friends. It’s entertaining and fun, not to mention you might also learn something worthwhile (or possibly just cool) in the process.

Let me  know what you thought of the show. 🙂

      1. Errrrr…..Me?
Here come the 101 questions Rachael…
        1.Set up on Skype first?
2.Ask for some kindly soul to lead me hand by hand on how to make sure I’m connected to everyone?
(This is what happens when someone comes out of a bubble- lol)
        3. Is there an audience for someone say ‘Here’s how not to do it folks’ (more lols)
It strikes me as fun though.

        1. It’s through Google Hangouts, so if you have a gmail account you’re good to go. Dan would be very interested in having you on the show. So don’t discount yourself! You’ve got such a great writing voice and a lot to offer. ❤

          1. Thank you very much Rachael for those kind words.
Since coming to WordPress I’ve been taking all sorts of ‘risks’
This is going down on my next two weeks’ ‘Things To Do List’
            All the best Rachael
