Guests Welcome

cropped-pen-color1.jpgHi all!

I’d like to start featuring, more regularly, other bloggers (and even people who write but don’t blog or consider themselves “writers”) on my blog with these topics in mind:

  • inner beauty
  • kindness
  • encouragement
  • inspiration
  • motivation
  • clean humor
  • writing advice/encouragement

This is not an exhaustive list, of course, so if you have an idea or something you’d like to share, email me! writingraci @ gmail . com πŸ™‚

  1. I’m glad I stumbled around WordPress for a while tonight. After starting and abandoning my ‘professional portfolio’ here for the I-don’t-know-how-many-eth time, I started exploring, and found you/this site/this discussion. Not only am I inhibited by simply avoiding publishing, but also, I’m missing out on what appears to be a warm, enthusiastic, and seriously productive community of writers. Thanks for leading the way!

      1. I just realized you tried to access the site, and yeah, there’s nothing really happening on it yet. I keep delaying it and I’m not sure why. It’s pretty embarrassing as is, though.

What do you suggest as a good way to tackle so large a project as a professional portfolio?

        1. No problem! Sorry I haven’t replied to your email yet. Been super busy. I have no real advice on a professional portfolio. Your talking to a stay-at-home-mom who happens to write and blog. What is your end goal with a pro-portfolio? What do you want people to be able to learn about you and your writing, as well as your other professional endeavors? πŸ™‚

      1. That would be perfect! I’ve been brainstorming ideas for a book launch plan, and that would fit right in!
You are welcome to guest post on my blog to celebrate The Treasonous publishing! I’ve been meaning to tell you that. Which month do you think it will publish?

            1. Maybe something along the lines of what this writing journey has taught you, a meaningful lesson that both readers and writers can take away from it. Really it can be anything though, I’m flexible when it comes to topics. πŸ™‚

            2. Haha, totally fine! Let’s see, something along the lines of what this writing journey has taught you, a meaningful lesson that both readers and writers can take away from it, any insight you gained… Topics like that. πŸ™‚

            1. I thought so too, targets have to be realistic around family matters. Too high and it won’t be motivation and get set aside. Thus way I reckon I can hit 30,000 with an outside chance of the actual 50,000. Well, that’s the plan lol
