Author Interview with Joy E. Rancatore & The Crux Celebration

It’s been six months since the publication of The Crux Anthology!

There’s so much to say about this book, why it was made, who participated, what to expect, and a little about what it’s like to be an author, so Joy E. Rancatore from Logos & Mythos Press took some time out of her day to interview me. We had a great chat, and here is the video so you can check it out too:

Stuff covered in the video:

  • Why Rachael hosted a writing contest (ASF Short Story Contest) (2:00)
  • Charity we support: Compassion International (5:20)
  • What it took to put the contest together (7:10)
  • The judges –
  • Inspiration for “Ealiverel Awakened” (10:07)

  • Some Reviews we’ve gotten for The Crux Anthology (18:15)
  • What Joy has going on over at Logos & Mythos Press (23:25)
  • We won’t turn down a kind review of any of the stories! (26:20)
  • Where to buy a copy of The Crux Anthology (27:46)
  • Request the book at your local library!
  • Our Facebook Page: The Crux Crew (29:52)
  • The Crux Anthology Info Page @ RachaelRitchey.com

    1. I figured there might be interesting topics within our talk but that some people might not have time to listen to them all, so I had an epiphany that I should break it down a bit. That way people each get what they want/need! That’s also why I was late posting it. 🙂 Thank you again for setting up the interview, Joy! ❤
