A couple of weeks ago, our friend, E. Rawls, won the “Arrival” Blog Battle, and was kind enough to do a quick interview for us. I’m sorry for the delay, but it’s always worth the wait to talk with this lovely woman!
Here we go! So, I gotta ask,
1) If you were only given a piece of paper, a twig, and a purple crayon in order to escape from a locked room, what would you do?
Wow, that’s a tough one! Let me put my thinking cap on… It would depend on what kind of lock the door had, but I’d probably work at sharpening the crayon and twig by rubbing them against the wall. Then once sharp, I’d use them to pick the lock. 😀 Not sure what part the paper would play, except to whack the culprit over the head with. 😛
Haha A good thwapping of the noggin is a good idea. 🙂
2) When you think of snow, what comes to mind?
Uuugh, snow? I wish pleasant things came to mind, but mostly it’s: WINTER, COLD, MISERY UNTIL SPRING. XD I will say that I don’t mind light snow, especially in December, it’s pretty and enchanting. But then I want it to be gone and melted away by February so warm spring can come. 🙂 Winters where I live are very, very cold, otherwise if it were only a mild cold, I might not mind winter as much.
I can identify with your feelings, for sure. Love snow a Christmas, but can do without the ice and freezing temperatures that seem to reign the season around here. 🙂 Snow is beautiful, though. It’s crystalline and pure when it falls, washing everything white.
3) If an alien showed up on your doorstep and wanted to trade all your Christmas presents from now and all years past for a light saber, would you do it? Why?
NOooo! I want my presents, haha, they are more entertaining and useful than a light saber would be for me. 😀 Books, art supplies, booooks for presents–could I really give that up? Nooo way! Now, if it were an offer to go live in Middle Earth, I might change my mind… 😉
Haha, I’ll talk to our alien friends, maybe they’ll put that trade option on the list! I can’t imagine giving up the gift of books for a light saber either. Good choice, good choice.
Thank you so much for answering these intense and important questions! It is always a pleasure. Truly love getting to know you better, E.
Thank you, my dear friend, for stopping in to spend a few fun minutes with E. Rawls and me! and I? Oh dear. I’m having a “put” moment. You had to be there.
Please leave a comment, question, or idea! I’d love to chat!
