Everyone welcome Natasha Roxby to the #BlogBattle Winner Interview stage!
Natasha is brand new to the battle, but her story really caught the attention of the readership, and she’s won “Pure” week. Her story for this theme is called Flight, and you really should go check it out if you haven’t read it yet.
Natasha, we do try to keep the interviews short and sweet, so thanks for making the time to stop in and let us drill you for personal information. 😉
1) When it comes to writing, what is your favorite place to do it? Do you use computer or paper and pencil, and why?
My favorite place to write is in my bedroom, surrounded by my many books and throw pillows, with a cup of raspberry iced tea at the ready. And I prefer to use my computer, since I’ve become a pretty fast typist. 🙂
Sounds like a slice of writer’s heaven! Now I’m thirsty for a cup of raspberry iced tea and a chance to snuggle down in a bunch of pillows. 🙂
2) You are a lover of the night sky and as such, you must have dreamed up some story about the starlit cosmos. Can you tell us a little about it?
Certainly! Although, it’s not so completely centered around the night sky as you might think. Rather, it’s a recurring theme for many of the characters, holding different meanings for each of them. For some, it’s a blessing and one of the few things that keeps them going. For others, it’s a curse that only reminds them of lost happiness. For still others, just to see the sky is a dream that they cherish, but consider unattainable. As for the storyline itself, I have a blurb for it on this page of my blog.
Sounds like a great way to use such a theme! I love the possibilities. 🙂
3) If an alien from the far reaches of space were to show up on your door and offer you a treasure trove full of gold and other precious items in exchange for your right hand would you take it? Why?
Nope. I need that hand to type. I might offer a foot, though. My family and I could use the money. 😛
Haha Those haggling aliens sometimes will take a different deal, but he may have really, really wanted that right hand of yours. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if the offer ever comes. Maybe you could learn to type with your toes instead.
Was such great fun getting to know you better, Natasha! Thanks for spending a bit of time with us, and congrats on the win!
