****It’s the end of Wednesday. You know, I wrote half my story for this week before I ran out of steam. *sigh* I guess I’ll try for two words next week. I’ve never missed a battle yet, so this is disappointing, but that’s life and illness. I’m feeling better today. Bronchitis hit me like a ton of bricks. Today I was able to do a lot and was even hungry! I haven’t been hungry in a week, so that’s great news. 🙂 Now I want to write. That’s even better news because I didn’t want to write either. Sick sucks. Sick is not cool, great, or otherwise, so I suggest the youth of today not take up or continue the use of that word for such oxymoronic expletives. That’s my two cents for the day. Salut!

Hi Rachel!
Most likely because I took last week off, my story seems to have been missed!
Here it is https://thewhaleandthepetunias.wordpress.com/2016/03/23/right-now-on-the-back-porch/
Thanks! Hope you’re feeling better!

I didn’t see a pingback or comment for it Andy! Sorry about that. I’ll add it in now. 🙂 Thanks for understanding!

Hey Rachael, didn’t realize you’d been sick! I hope you’re on the mend. Barbara had the flu, and I have it now.
In the list of stories above, it doesn’t look like my “White Feather” is linked…or is my computer seeing it wrong?
If you have a sore throat, you might try hot lemon juice with honey. It’s worked for me.

Thanks, Andrew! I’m sorry you and Barbara have been sick! I’m taking an antibiotic and a strong prescription sleeping/cough aid which is helping.
Oh…hmmm…. I was sure I’d linked it up but anything is possible! I’ll definitely fix it asap.
I made Karl make a special trip to the store for lemons on Friday haha.

Oh, I missed this one! Been down the rabbit hole of editing these past few days, so will have to try again next week 🙂 Looking forward to reading the other entries, though.

Thanks, Helen. I might be functional as a human being today. Haha If you want to write some flash fiction today, I can still add it. 🙂

Thanks Rachael, that’s very kind of you – I’ll see if I can come up with anything 🙂
Glad to hear you’re at the ‘functional’ stage – it’s a sign you’re on the other side of it now 🙂
