Upcoming Release Cover Reveal for E. E. Rawls’s Madness Solver!

This is a special reveal for me, not because I had anything to do with it–because I didn’t–but because E. E. Rawls is a once-upon-a-time participant in #BlogBattle, and Madness Solver was born during our regular weekly challenges back in the day!

I’m so excited to see Madnes’s story evolved from a fun weekly (yes, BB was weekly once upon a time!) word challenge serial story into a full-blown, fleshed-out awesome-sauce YA novel series!

Madness Solver in Wonderland: Part ONE

Such a fantastic cover!

Madnes Hatter’s adventure and escapades are on e-book preorder now and will be relased into the world on May 23rd!

Book Blurb:

Teenage Madnes Hatter wants more to life than what his island hometown has to offer—and he definitely doesn’t want a boring future in hat-making, like his parents. But he sure doesn’t expect a well-dressed cat named Cheshire to suddenly pop into his life and make everything worse—giving him the power of the Madness Solver and making him the guardian and peacekeeper between Wonderland and Earth.

What the heck? When he said he wanted more to life, this wasn’t what he meant! Now, he’s the only one who can see Wonderland creatures as they walk the streets, and when there’s trouble, it’s his job to solve it. His friends, Alice and Harrey, think he’s going crazy.

But when a problem arises with the portals linking Wonderland to Earth, an old mystery is brought to light—the case of the death of the previous Madness Solver. Will Madnes meet the same fate, with the guardian power sapping away at his life? Wonderland’s ruler, the Red King, has cast a dangerous spell, and an ancient evil is rising. Madnes may not have long to save his friends and both worlds before it’s too late…

And guess what . . .

This is a series, but you won’t have to wait a year for part two! You can also get the second book at the same time on May 23rd! The books are both available for preorder now, so head on over and reserve your copies and help me support this #BlogBattler!

Here’s a little plug for #BlogBattle aka #BBPrompt at bbprompt.com which is a monthly one-word writing prompt hosted by myself and my good writing buddy, Gary Jefferies over at fictionisfood.com.

Every month, a group of authors take the challenge word and write a story between 250 and 2000 words that incorporates the given word either specifically (preferred) or strongly implied. Then, we round up the stories and make them available to read!

Consider joining us and our fun little community or jump in and have some great reads! Who knows? You might get a head start on the next great book publication before it reaches the world stage!

  1. I’m a bit behind of catching up on WP posts….Chores & re-writes of re-writes….you know the score.
Well done to you Racheal for spreading the word about so many interesting books (I keep saying this…I will have to start reading again and not just audio-booking- missing out on too much).
    bbprompt.com…..Oh my. Dare I?

    1. Roger, you are just fantastic. I’m so sorry for the delay in replying. I’ve been so busy offline in the world and with my design business that I’ve totally neglected my website and friends online! 😦 I hope May and the beginning of June treated you well. ❤ I definitely try to balance real books with audio books, but I find it's easier to do audio books since I'm on the road for several hours during the day as well as always folding that mountain of laundry! haha

      1. No to worry about delays Rachael 😊. These things do happen; we can’t be in more than one place, at least physically, although are minds may be bouncing all over the place!😄
Although I finished my trilogy it called for a mammoth re-write (630,000 + words). My own absences are summarised as ‘If I’m not here-(WP that is)-; I’m there -(The Precipice Dominion Trilogy-‘)’ 😃…. (It may never reach triple figures in sales, but it’s mine 😊)
You take care now, particularly on the road and all those best wishes for your ventures.
        Keep on keeping on.

          1. Thank you for your kind words Rachael.
The sales of the first two volumes and even the free-promotions of Amazon (they are on Kindle alone) have been very low, but heck, I gave up on that side long ago and just wrote for the enjoyment of it. That way I could experiment with ‘far-out’ (flash-back to the 1960s) ideas.😃. It’s fun!
